Ben and Spider-woman are in the Thames River after a surprise explosion. Ben resuces Spider-woman, totalling a "Hydra-foil" full of Hydra baddies in the process. Back on land, Ben questions S-W, who seems to have been shocked out of her hypnosis by the explosions. Though her memories are a bit vague, she promises to help Ben recover the kidnapped Alicia from the many hands of Hydra. We cut away to our ongoing subplot, and the band of burglars who have been committing odd thefts around London. It seems they're looking for a treaure worth untold millions that was lost in London in World War II. Elsewhere, Hydra has Alicia trusssed to a huge machine, and we learn that they're going to test the serum (based on Spider-woman's body chemistry) that they got a few issues backs from Professor Kort on poor Alicia... Cut to Ben and Spider-woman examining an empty Hydra base. Spider-woman still can't remember exactly where she took Alicia to, and Ben throws a tantrum, totalling the ex-base. The two step outside, where they are almost immediately attacked by a hideously mutated Alicia Masters, now a spider-woman herself with eight poisionous spider-legs...
